Organized by the Croatian Federation of Associations of People with Intellectual Disabilities as part of a three-year program funded by the Ministry of Social Policy and Youth entitled "Quality Education of Associations - the Path to New Challenges" in Tuheljske Toplice this weekend, our Association participated in a seminar where we had the opportunity to hear the following:
– News related to the continuation of three-year programs and the announcement of tenders – Ministry of Demography, Family, Youth and Social AffairsPolitics – Anica Ježić
- Legal guidelines in the provision of social services - lawyer of the Association,
– The importance of active support for people with intellectual disabilities in independent living with support, half-day and day care centers, clubs and other activities - Dr. Daniela Bratković - Faculty of Education and Rehabilitation, Zagreb
– Quality system for providing social services – Ozren Catela, Marko Perkov
– Presentation of associations: Zadar, Đakovo, Koprivnica, Split
We would like to thank the Association for the opportunity to present the work of our Association, after which we received praise for our work, which is further encouragement and encouragement for us.
At the same time, our Anja and Tatjana participated in a workshop on making greeting cards and decorative items, as well as a workshop entitled "Issues and suggestions for improving the provision of support and services to users" - Mirjana Jakovčev and a self-advocacy workshop: "What form of support do I need in everyday activities, Andea Gašpar, - Lorena Koštić, ,Patricija Karaman
All praise to the organizer for the well-organized camp and the very useful information we received at the seminars, and we look forward to future gatherings and seminars.
