On Wednesday, April 16, we solemnly signed a contract for the implementation of the project entitled “Timeout for Parents” SF.4.11.01.0002 within the Call for Proposals “Innovative Social Services – Care Leave (Pilot Project)” at the premises of the National and University Library in Zagreb. In this project The Latice Association participates as an applicant, while our partners are Association of the Blind of Koprivnica-Križevci County and the Association of People with Intellectual Disabilities and Their Families
family “Maslačak” Križevci. We have been granted financial resources in the total amount of €139,790.22. The project was financed from the State Budget of the Republic of Croatia in a share of 5% and from the “Effective Human Resources 2021-2027 European Social Fund Plus” Program in a share of 95%. The signing of the Agreement on behalf of our association was attended by the president, Nevenka Fuchs and Vice President, Dražen Novačić, on behalf of Ministry of Labor, Pension System, Family and Social Policy Minister Marin Piletić was present. The project will be implemented for the next 18 months from the date of signing. It will involve a total of 24 people with the status of parent caregivers from the Koprivnica-Križevci and Varaždin counties, who care for a child with difficulties and/or a person with a disability who are not users of personal assistance or residential services. We will provide them with help and support, and thus also enable people with the most severe type and degree of impairment to be more involved in the community. We are proud because this is already our third successful European project.
