The Latice Association provides social personal assistance services to 17 beneficiaries, and the service is provided by 13 personal assistants. Personal assistance improves the quality of life of persons with disabilities through self-care services and support in activities of daily living, which directly leads to the prevention of institutionalization because persons remain living in their natural environment.
The goal of marking Personal Assistants' Day is to highlight the importance of their work, as they make life easier for people with disabilities.
